I’m Shoshana Sperling, a JeWitch in Parkdale, Toronto. I am your community OutWitch: offering counsel to people through challenging times. My medicines are humour, shape-shifting and storytelling. I’m an Expressive Arts Therapist in training at The CREATE Institute, ordained minister, BFA specialization in Education, writer, clown, voice actor, mom, sister, daughter, BFF, student, activist and teacher at Witch School of Canada.

I’m a storyteller, a history nerd, a director, a mom, a Bestie, a practitioner of Human Design, a Projector, and an activist Witch. I direct audiobooks for a national publishing company, teach Improv at Second City, and I offer custom communication and team building training for groups of all sizes.

At my core, I am a lover of life. I’m a curious, tender, and hopeful person with a passion for socio-ecological justice. I’m an Astro Witch, teacher, academic, spiritually-integrative psychotherapist, ritual-maker, and seer of the details.

I was born in and shaped by Alberta though I’ve also lived in Vancouver. And Jasper. And Winnipeg briefly. And Toronto for a couple decades. I’m a seeker, a Buddhist, a meditation instructor, an occasional gardener, a jumper in lakes, a kitchen dancer.

I am a crafter of objects and words, a long-distance walker of the dawn, a reader, potter, filmmaker, teacher, songsmith, dancing diva, and friend of the ukulele.

I’m a teacher, a life-long learner, and a person who loves to make things: friends, clothes, jewelry, a mess, socks, a fuss, and noise. I get joy from wearing over-the-top, colourful outfits just to go about my boring daily activities, and improvising songs about my cats and my husband.
Board - HR Portfolio Chair
I am a fibre artist, a papermaker, a sculptor and a weaver, both physically and metaphorically. At present, I use my creative and intuitive gifts to manifest jewelry and talismanic objects that exude the wondrous power of crystal energies. As an empath, I also practice reiki and intuitive healing and I am a long-time reader of Oracle cards, for both myself and others.

I was born in Calgary and moved to Montreal after graduating grade 12 to play in a band. Then I moved to Toronto to play more shows with that band. And now I’m writing this bio.
Choir Director
I am EmBot, mother of two, ADHDiva, procraftinator, artistic problem-solver. I’m good at bringing people out of their shells and helping them feel comfortable in their own skin. The thing I love most about Community OutWitch is that it’s a brave space where people have a voice and can explore their most authentic selves.
