SATURDAY Nov 21st Poetry Peeps at Play :: an afternoon of writing and sharing poetry

If you’ve ever written a poem, wanted to write a poem, or are just plain poetry-curious, Community OutWitch’s four-session POETRY PEEPS AT PLAY is where you want to be. Quarterbacked by bestselling Canadian author and poet DIANE BAKER MASON and genius writer/actor/director LISA BROOKE, this party with poems is all about getting the pen moving and the voice heard. You don’t need to know trochees and spondees and iambic pentameter. You don’t need to rhyme (or not rhyme). You just need to want to join the party!

So bring your best Bic and your smoothest pad (or we’ll supply) and be prepared to explore what might come out. 100% safe environment – this is not a poetry-criticism workshop. This is a gathering of like-minded souls who want to dive into discovery. Join us!

1-3pm
25 O’Hara Ave

Note! Participant/partiers are welcome to bring a poem (or poems!) they’ve written and would care to share (or not share – the changing of minds is very much encouraged!)
(price includes HST)
